What types of payment options are available?
Payment in full is due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, CareCredit, and Scratchpay as forms of payment.
Are there payment plans available for my pet’s care?
We offer CareCredit and Scratchpay as financing options. You can visit their websites for their easy application process that will give you results in minutes.
Should I call ahead to book an appointment?
Yes, please call ahead to ensure we have space in our schedule to see your pet. We are appointment-based, but we try our best to see you in a prompt manner.
What types of animals do you treat?

At Heritage Animal Hospital, we treat dogs and cats.

How do I know if my pet needs to see a Veterinarian?
Your pet cannot tell you when something is wrong. An exam by a veterinarian is recommended anytime you notice anything abnormal with your pet. Examples are vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, loss of appetite, trouble breathing, trouble urinating, seizures, bleeding, coughing, new lumps, ear infections, limping, or change in activity.
Can I just get a prescription? I do not want to pay an office call.
It is not possible to accurately diagnose your pet over the phone. If we prescribe a medication for a problem that we are not certain about this could cause other issues. If you are unsure whether your pet needs an appointment, please contact us.
Why should we purchase medications directly from Heritage or our online pharmacy?
Manufacturers will only offer their guarantee on products purchased directly from a licensed Veterinarian. If there were to be a problem with the product, the manufacturer will only support your claim if the product is purchased from a Veterinarian.
What do I do if my pet eats something harmful?

Call Pet Poison Helpline at (855) 764-7661. Please be advised that there is a consultation fee, but this is the most accurate way to know if veterinary care is commended. If treatment is advised, please contact us. In some circumstances, we may recommend a referral to 24-hour care for monitoring overnight.
